Job duties

As a shift manager at Bergtransport, you must represent the employer, lead and develop the business and the employees. You work actively to develop organization and working methods by encouraging collaboration, participation and the dissemination of knowledge, as well as conducting active work environment work. You have personnel responsibility, which includes, among other things, staffing planning, target interviews, skills development and rehabilitation. As a shift manager, you are directly subordinate to the operations manager for transport. The working hours are arranged in shifts with morning, afternoon and day.

Education experience

You must have at least a high school education or equivalent skills. Education in leadership is highly meritorious.

In order to be successful in the role, we see that you have previously worked as a manager and have good experience in leading staff. Good personal maturity, with a great interest in people and the development of our business. As a person, you are expected to be independent, stable, empathetic and have the ability to communicate clearly.

The position requires a high level of cooperation with employees in the own organization and with other functions within and outside the mining department.

You can express yourself well both orally and in writing in both Swedish and English and have basic computer skills. B driving license is a requirement.
