We are looking for
We are looking for you who is a registered nurse with good knowledge of the Swedish language. It is advantageous if you have previous experience or training in surgery and emergency medical care. We put great emphasis on your personal characteristics. As a person, you are stable and controlled in stressful situations. You value and see the benefit of collaboration with others and put the patient in focus. You are responsible, committed and have good cooperation skills that come out by creating a positive working climate together with your colleagues.

You get to work with this
As a nurse in our department, you have varied and developing work where you both work independently and as part of the care team. The work means that you will meet patients with lower gastrocholesterol problems, vascular patients, general surgery patients and emergency patients. The department also cares for emergency patients who are received around the clock, but also for planned surgery. During on-call hours, we have emergency admissions from the entire county. You are responsible for the nursing work, the patient group is broad and varied where you as a nurse have duties both in nursing and in medicine. You get to work with advanced medical equipment. You participate in the nursing work around all our patients.

Here, patients are operated on for, among other things, abdominal aortic aneurysms and colorectal cancer. We work according to ERAS. Patients are also observed after various interventions. There are also acute surgical patients, for example abdominal pain, bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract, concussion and measures and supervision after, for example, accidents. We work with person-centred care, interprofessional collaborations and evidence-based care.

We have a solid introduction and we have support functions such as development managers in the form of specialist trained nurses and specialist trained assistant nurses who are in the workplace as support. In our department, we are supportive as colleagues and always want to provide the best care to all our patients.

Information about the service
We offer you permanent full-time employment. Working hours day/evening/weekend. Access by agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual wage setting according to collective agreements.
