Your role and responsibilities

ABB is one of the leading providers of electrical power products, systems and services around the world. The market is growing and we need more people. At ABB Service, we strive to be close to our customers and are therefore represented in several locations around Sweden - from Gällivare in the north to Malmö in the south. Right now, we are looking for service technicians in electrical power for Skellefteå, Luleå and Gällivare. Our mission is to provide services that increase operational reliability, availability and profitability and reduce the environmental impact of the customer's production facilities. We cover the entire life cycle of the plant and help our customers work with continuous improvements.

Do you want a varied and free work in a real future industry? Are you currently working as an industrial electrician or electrical installer and want to further develop in power engineering, service and maintenance?

• You will be involved in corrective and preventive maintenance on transformers, MSP-LSP circuit breakers, relay protection, arc flash protection in various types of electric power plants
• You will participate in upgrade projects and commissioning of MSP-LSP switchgear
• You will be able to act as sales support and resource in quotation work, including for upgrades and rebuilds of various types of electric power equipment
• You share ABB:s core values of safety and integrity, which means that you take responsibility for your own actions while feeling responsible for your colleagues and the business

Qualifications for the role

• You have previous experience as a service engineer or as an industrial electrician
• You can read both mechanical and electrical drawings and you are also a skilled user of measuring equipment in a substation environment
• Experience with ABB:s electrical power products, plant design, commissioning, testing, relay protection, 61850 protocol, programming or Electrical Installation Authorization A, AL is meritorious
• You have a B driving license, can use a computer within the work and know how to handle and interpret measurement data
• You master both English and Swedish in speech and writing
• As a person, you are social, careful and always put work safety first. You have a good sense of humor and an open and empathetic attitude towards customers and colleagues
• As travel is part of the job, it is important that you enjoy a mobile existence
