Do you have experience as an Electrical Designer and want to develop in electrical power?

We are looking for 4 Electrical Designers with location Luleå or Skellefteå.

The role as an electrical designer with us is demanding but also exciting and developing as it involves participating in all parts of plant projects. You will mainly work with construction but also work management during commissioning and technical support to project managers and salespeople. Your responsibilities

  • In this role, you will be responsible for project planning and support to sales engineers. You will also provide support to project managers with calculations, planning and technical issues (in smaller projects also some project management).
  • You will provide support, management and training of more junior engineers and to some extent manage subcontractors on site.
  • You will hold discussions and negotiations with clients but also provide follow-up and support after delivery.
  • You will work with the design and documentation of power distribution facilities, mostly on medium voltage, but also low voltage and high voltage up to 130kV.
  • You will purchase and clear power products, mainly switchgear, relay protection, transformers and peripherals.
  • You will be responsible for the configuration of relay protection and to some extent other products and systems in electrical power stations.
  • In the role you will make calculations and dimensioning, mainly of switchgear and control equipment.
  • Risk assessment and prevention of accidents and incidents are also part of the role.
  • You will have the opportunity to develop the services and strategies of the business.

Your background

  • You have a technical post-secondary education with a focus on electrical power or similar.
  • Industry experience and many years of experience with electrical power plants and switchgear is an advantage.
  • To succeed, you need to be an open, orderly and unpretentious team player with a keen interest in technology.
  • You thrive in a role where you can take initiative and solve problems.
  • You put the customer in focus and you enjoy and have an aptitude for working with other people both internally and externally with our customers.
  • You have a B driving license.
  • You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
