This position reports to the R&D Team Lead.

Your role and responsibilities

We are maintaining ABB's oldest process control system in a project customer funded by the energy sector. Our mission is to maintain the product documentation so that ABB can provide spare parts also in the future. Our team is small and takes broad responsibility for the long-term producibility of the products, which means varied tasks depending on customer needs and the development of the component market. If you are meticulous and want to work with electronics while thriving in a structured work environment, this may be the role for you.

Duties

- Maintain documentation, drawings and production documentation.

- Component investigations to find suitable replacements for old components.

- Maintenance and development of measurement systems for product testing.

- Development of test programs for functional tests.

- Direct contact with the customer's technical and quality managers.

Qualifications for the role

  • We believe that you have solid work experience in electronics, or experience of industrial control systems and good general technical understanding.
  • Solution-oriented and initiative-taking when the group or customer needs it.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English.
  • Very good knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
  • Experience in electronics design and/or measurement technology is meritorious.
  • We would like you to have experience in simulation, troubleshooting and repair of electronics.
