Your role and responsibilities

Do you want to take the next step as an Automation Engineer and work with the latest technology in a future-oriented and expansive environment? At our office in Malmö, we offer you a developing role where you will be a key person in our team - with the opportunity to influence both technology, customer solutions and our continued growth. You will work with ABB's market-leading DCS platform 800xA, where your efforts make a real difference for both customers and society.

In the role, you will have a varied everyday life with everything from system support and aftermarket services to project deliveries with a focus on the customer's control system. You work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues and customers - in assignments that extend throughout southern Sweden in the energy, process industry, manufacturing industry, as well as in heating, water and wastewater treatment plants.

Qualifications for the role

  • We are looking for you who are an automation engineer with experience of working with complex solutions.
  • To succeed in this role, we believe you have a few years of experience as an engineer in automation, industrial control systems or industrial IT/OT with a focus on systems.
  • We believe you have experience from the energy or process industry and have experience in support operations, programming and/or IT/OT system installation / configuration.
  • Experience and knowledge of System 800xA, Advant, Master, Sattline and Freelance is valued to your advantage. If you have insight/competence in ex Safety (SIL), electrical, instrumentation and field design, this is also meritorious.
  • As ABB is a global company, you need to master Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
  • It is an advantage if you have a B driving license as there may be travel to participate in projects and / or perform after-sales services.
  • It is also important that you have personal drive, ambition and curiosity, are goal-oriented and communicative as well as structured and unpretentious team player with a passion for technology.
