Your role and responsibilities
You will be part of Force Measurement in Västerås.
Force Measurement is a factory with global responsibility for production, development, sales, service and marketing. We offer reliable equipment for measurement and control in metal, paper and marine applications. Our products are used in a variety of industries and processes and are designed to improve productivity, control and quality.
- In production, you work with the assembly, testing and operation of different types of machines.
- We would like you to learn as much as possible from our internal processing chains as it creates a better overall understanding and increases quality awareness.
- The role includes everything from electromechanical assembly to measuring and operating various machines.
- You will also be responsible for analysis and action of mechanical and electrical quantities.
- With us, it is important that you are a team player who is prepared to "jump in" where you are needed at the moment so that we can fulfill our promises to the customer.
- We work with business development and everyone is expected to take an active role in improving our processes and contributing to increased customer satisfaction.
Qualifications for the role
- You have a technical upper secondary education with a focus on electronics/electrical/machining or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience working in the engineering industry.
- We believe that you have a basic technical understanding, can read technical descriptions/drawings, have experience in electrical and mechanical assembly work and can operate different types of process machines.
- You are persistent and can work while maintaining concentration for a long time.
- In our production, there is a strong focus on health and safety where everyone contributes to a healthy workplace that is constantly improving.
- You need to be able to communicate in Swedish and English in both writing and speech.
- It is meritorious if you currently work with technically advanced products with high added value and low serial volume.
- Truck and traver card and knowledge of SAP is desirable.
