ABB Robotics in Västerås is now looking for a committed and driven person for the role of Automation Maintenance Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for you who want to take responsibility and work in a dynamic environment with high-tech solutions.

As part of our maintenance team, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and have a key role in ensuring that our robot cells work optimally. You will work with troubleshooting, maintenance and cross-departmental collaboration to find the best solutions. The position involves working in 2 shifts, giving you variety and the opportunity to develop in your role.

Your responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting PLCs, robots and robot cells
• Handling spare parts
• Programming, both reading and writing
• Conducting root cause analysis
• Reading drawings and electrical schematics

Qualifications for the role

• We are looking for you who are passionate about problem solving through collaboration and cross-functional work.
• You are self-motivated and strive to ensure high availability in our production robot cells.
• Your passion and commitment will be crucial to achieve success in this role.
• You need 3-5 years of experience in troubleshooting, working with repair, maintenance of automatic systems, preferably with experience in robots.
• Very good computer skills (Purchasing, case management, troubleshooting, problem solving)
