Your role and responsibilities

As we strive for continuous improvement in our planning and fulfillment processes, skills and tools, we are seeking an Operations and Supply Planner to join our team at our Alingsås site in Sweden.

Reporting to the Planning and Fulfilllment Manager your primary responsibilities will include optimizing key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, inventory turns, and lead times, with a specific focus on improving inventory management. If you have a proven track record in disposition and logistics, along with expertise in SAP-MM, -PP, and -WM, and the ability to drive improvement initiatives in a dynamic environment, we invite you to join us in shaping the future together.

Your responsibilities:

  • Assembles and analyses all data pertinent to creating a production plan, uses capacity planning and links it to the demand plan.
  • Provides input to finance on operating plans for the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process, concerning incoming volume and capacity.
  • Maintain planning parameters in ERP.
  • Prepares demand and supply scenarios, analyses the risks associated, and recommends both short- and long-term solutions and mitigation plan to remove bottlenecks.
  • Performing standard and ad hoc detailed analyses for planning & fulfillment metrics (forecast & production plan accuracy, resource utilization). Identifies key root causes for non-performance and drives improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor customer OTD and LT.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical, business, logistics, or related field, or a vocational training in business or technical fields with relevant working experience.
  • Strong background in logistics, production planning, or equivalent, with up to 2 years of working experience and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma is an advantage.
  • Expertise in the planning and fulfillment domains of logistics, warehouse management, inventory management, and sales & operations execution.
  • Knowledge of SAP (PP, MM modules) is an advantage.
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Customer-focused and action-oriented, with a systematic and structured approach
  • Cultural awareness and ability to collaborate within a global organization.
  • Strong communication skills in Swedish and English is an advantage
