Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated Product Specialist to play a key role in our team to grow our business in the low voltage offering. You will support the sales organization and our customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions for the modernization and maintenance of low voltage systems and switchgear.

You will be part of a team with product specialists in our other technology areas within Medium Voltage Switchgear & Relay Protection. The rest of the organization consists of salespeople, project managers, service coordinators, contract managers, administrative staff and our service engineers who help our customers on site every day.

You report to the Manager Project Operations and the position is located in Västerås.

• You are responsible for driving the process of developing technical solutions from inquiry documents to finished proposals in tenders to our customers for the modernization of locking voltage switches, LSp switchgear compartments and loose groups.
• You are responsible for defining our local portfolio of products and services for low voltage for long-term success for us and our customers.
• You create the conditions to grow our volume and profitability by supporting the development of, for example, marketing materials, product training and price lists.
• You will act as a spokesperson towards factories when it comes to local development and customization of the low voltage service offering.
• You will take responsibility as a technical expert and support for our service engineers as well as for our customers in complex low voltage issues.
• You work independently but are part of a skilled team and have extensive contact with sales people, customers, project managers, designers and suppliers.
• You are committed, thorough and like to work towards set goals and deadlines.
• You are a driven and business-minded person.

Qualifications for the role

• Technical training and good knowledge of electrical power.
• Experience in switchgear installations, specifically in low voltage.
• Knowledge of principles and practices in Electrical Safety.
• Service-oriented, social, cooperative and thorough.
• A solution-focused approach and willingness to take ownership to move forward and achieve results.
• Experience with SAP ECC.
• Experience working with the full Office 365 package.
• Good communication skills in both Swedish and English in speech and writing.
• As travel is included in the service, it is important that you enjoy a mobile existence and have a B-driving license.
