Your role and responsibility

The journey to a sustainable future is through electrification. Mining is a key component of this journey, necessary both to supply steel for new, efficient energy production and for the production of the critical minerals needed for the increasing production of batteries. We are working with our customers to deliver the most energy-efficient way of extracting ore - tailings. Here, we develop complete mining winches from sales through development all the way to final installation. Now you have a great opportunity to join our local engineering team in Sweden.

As a Project Drives Systems Engineer within Hoisting, you will work closely with the sales organization as well as the entire project organization together with skilled engineers to:

• Dimension the drive system in the sales phase
• Validate and finalize designs in active projects
• Interact with our suppliers, for example during manufacturing tests to guarantee functionality

There is good opportunity to shape your role according to your interests in e.g. harmonic filters, intermediate filters, and other systems.

Qualifications for the role

• University degree in electrical engineering and/or background in power electronics and experience in drive systems is preferred - but in this position your personal qualities will be valued as highly as formal education and experience. We are looking for individuals with great drive and ambition, with a positive attitude and a drive to make a difference. Your communication and relationship skills, your ability to listen and understand customer needs will help build long-term relationships.
