This position reports to the Project Operations Manager.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Project Manager with us at Energy Industries, you will have the opportunity to be part of an innovative and sustainable future industry that makes a difference and helps optimize and streamline the processes of our customers in energy, water, chemicals, food and pharmaceuticals. You are involved from the tender phase to the end of the warranty period in our delivery projects and are responsible for planning and delivering customized solutions based on ABB products and control systems where you, together with your team, ensure that the goals are achieved and that the customers are satisfied. You lead several projects in parallel and actively drive these with a focus on e.g. schedule, finance, HSE and quality, which gives you a broad and varied working day.

You will work closely with other departments and build strong relationships with our customers, becoming an important part of a committed team that together develops solutions that affect the whole of society. The position is primarily based in Västerås, but you can also be based in Stockholm, Gothenburg or Malmö.

Qualifications for the role

• Technical education at university level with a focus on electricity, automation, data or equivalent or upper secondary level with associated professional experience.
• You have previous experience and knowledge of 800xA or other control systems and we look favorably on whether you have also had a technically leading role earlier in your career.
• As a person, you are curious, open and social with a natural ability to build good and long-term relationships.
• To fit the role, it is also important that you are a trustworthy team player who enjoys working with others, both internally in the projects and with our customers and suppliers.
• You have a strong personal drive and good sense of order together with a strong business focus and good understanding of construction law.
• You are a good communicator who is fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing.
