LV systems, a business unit within ABB's Electrification division, sells and services low voltage switchgear and controlgear and provides aftermarket products for the Swedish market. The equipment is manufactured and delivered from ABB workshops in Europe depending on product type and scope. The unit's customers are mainly in the pulp and paper, mining, power generation and transmission, chemical, infrastructure and construction industries in Sweden.

You will run our electrical plant projects containing low voltage switchgear and control equipment and be responsible for aftermarket deliveries, individually or in packages within LV Systems in Sweden.

You will maintain and increase customer satisfaction by providing the best possible service during all phases of our deliveries.

Your role and responsibilities

  • You will work on several projects in parallel, varying in size and complexity. As a project manager, you will be the order manager and have overall responsibility for managing the projects from planning to execution and completion.
  • You will lead the execution of projects/deliveries and ensure that all activities comply with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health and safety requirements, and cost/profitability and time targets.
  • You will monitor project progress, resource utilization and finances as well as control billing status, costs, expenses and cash flow.
  • You will be responsible for project close-out, including formal approvals and customer satisfaction, ensuring that customer requirements and expectations are met.
  • You will be responsible for sourcing services, materials and equipment from both external and internal suppliers and building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
  • You will ensure that projects are carried out in accordance with health and safety policies and company guidelines, while promoting ABB's values of safety and integrity.

Qualifications for the role

  • You have a relevant university degree in electrical power, electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • You have experience in electrical power and are used to having customer contact in connection with deliveries, meritorious with good knowledge of electrical power contracts.
  • You have documented experience of project management and administering project scope, costs, schedules, suppliers and contractors, etc.You have good knowledge of SAP and MS Office.
  • As a person, you are collaborative and solution-oriented and have a pronounced ability to communicate.
  • To fit the role, it is important that you are a trustworthy team player who enjoys working with others, both internally in the projects and with our customers and suppliers.
  • You are fluent in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
