This position reports to the R&D Team Lead.

Your role and responsibilities

We manage ABB's oldest process control system in a project customer funded by the energy sector. Our mission is to maintain the product family so it can be produced well into the future. Our team is experienced and works closely with customers and contract manufacturers to adapt the products to modern production. If you want to work with electronics in a structured work environment with varied tasks, this could be the role for you. Become part of our R&D office at Ängsgärdet together with a group of committed and skilled industrial engineers!

Duties:

• Maintain documentation, drawings and production documentation
• Troubleshooting together with production and testing when needed
• Component investigations to find suitable replacements for old components
• Maintenance and development of measurement systems for product testing
• Development of test programs for functional tests
• Direct contact with the customer's technical and quality and quality managers

Qualifications for the role

• We believe that you have solid work experience in electronics
• Good knowledge of analog and digital electronics (logic circuits)
• Solution-oriented and initiative-taking when the group or customer needs it
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English
• We would like you to have experience in simulation, troubleshooting and/or repair of electronics
• Experience in electronics design and/or measurement technology is meritorious
• Experience with Keysight VTE (VEE Test Executive) is meritorious
