Your role and responsibilities

Do you want to help shape the future of industrial services and sustainability solutions? Now you have the opportunity to become part of ABB and take the lead of our service business within motors and generators in Region South. As Region and Workshop Manager, you will play a central role in driving development forward, strengthening customer relationships and ensuring the highest level of service.

With our complete motor and generator workshop in Gothenburg as the hub of the business, you will work together with a dedicated team of technicians and engineers to support some of the region's largest industrial customers. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of lifecycle services and actively contribute to a more productive, energy efficient and sustainable future. With over 140 years of experience in the production and maintenance of motors, generators and drives, we have built a strong service organization with both workshops and field service.

In this role, you are responsible for leading and developing the team, creating a positive working environment and ensuring that you together reach set goals. You will work strategically to build long-term customer relationships, deliver the highest quality services and drive continuous improvement. Together with our Regional Sales Manager, you will develop the business and collaborate with other Motion Services Regional Managers to strengthen our market position. In addition, you will ensure a safe and secure workplace for all employees.

Qualifications for the role

  • We are looking for you who have previous experience in service and maintenance, good industry knowledge and at least 3 years of documented experience in a management position.
  • As a leader, you create an inclusive and positive work environment where all team members feel engaged and inspired.
  • As a person, you should also demonstrate a strong customer-oriented approach where the goal is to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Experience in the Swedish basic industry and process industry is an advantage. Background in electricity and automation that includes experience with frequency converters, power converters, electric motors and generators is a plus.
  • You have good knowledge and experience in issues related to maintenance technology and maintenance strategy.
  • You are a good communicator who masters Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
