This position reports to the Service Manager.

Your role and responsibilities

ABB today has a nationwide organization with operations in about twenty locations that we are now further strengthening based on Norrköping/Husqvarna. We have the office in Norrköping where we also have a service workshop. In total, there are about 50 service technicians who run the work in the region. You are responsible for service agreements within all ABB's divisions regionally. Our service services are offered from all our different product areas; drive systems, motors & generators, power, robot and control systems. You operate agreements with Nyköping, Norrköping, Linköping, Oskarsahamn and other locations.

In our service organization, we help to optimize our customers' facilities based on several sustainability factors: operational reliability, cost efficiency, material and energy efficiency and from a health and safety perspective. By having good knowledge of the customer's already installed ABB products, we can offer products and services that are adapted to the customer's situation. Our service offering can include upgrades, studies, analysis, preventive and predictive maintenance and training. Advanced services such as condition-based maintenance and remote control from our digital Operation Centers are also included in the services we deliver to our customers. In this role, you will work with the delivery and further development of the service agreements together with our customers, which includes:

  • project management (contract management) of the service delivery in existing contracts
  • business development and maintenance development with customers and growth of the contract business
  • ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability
  • acting as the spider in the web, internally and externally for our service contract deliveries through effective project management
  • an important link between the customers and ABB by following up on the performed customer assignments and proposing and implementing changes
  • The job involves traveling in the region for the implementation of contract follow-up of service contracts at your customers.

Qualifications for the role

  • The applicant probably has a university degree in engineering, economics or the equivalent.
  • It is meritorious if you have previously worked with service and maintenance in industry or other large companies, but not a requirement. Alternatively, you have a project management background with an interest in technology, digitization and business development.
  • You are responsive and communicative in meetings with customers and employees. You take on the role of a natural team leader and team player in our sales and delivery organization through a strong personal drive, business acumen and responsiveness to customer needs. You have an easy time expressing yourself in Swedish and English in both speech and more formal writing for our service agreements.
