Your role and responsibilities
ABB is one of the leading providers of electrical power products, systems and services around the world. The market is growing and we need more people. At ABB Electrification Sweden AB, we strive to be close to our customers and are therefore represented in several locations around Sweden - from Gällivare in the north to Malmö in the south. Right now we are looking for a service technician / engineer in electrical power service to Mölndal and Gothenburg and are interested in you who are junior as well as senior. Our mission is to provide services that increase reliability, availability and profitability and reduce the environmental impact of the customer's production facilities. We cover the entire life cycle of the plant and help our customers work with continuous improvements.

Have you also previously worked as an electrician, installer or similar and want to further develop in power technology, service and maintenance in a growing department? Then it may be just you we are looking for.
Depending on your background and interest, you will handle one or more of the following points.
- Corrective and preventive maintenance on, among other things, transformers, MSP-LSP circuit breakers, relay protection, arc guard in various types of electric power facilities.
- Participate in upgrade projects and commissioning of MSP-LSP switchgear.
- Provide sales support and resource in quotation work, including power equipment upgrades and conversions.
- Travel, usually during the day, is included in the position to support customers on site.
- You share ABB's core values of safety and integrity, which means that you take responsibility for your own actions while feeling responsible for your colleagues and the business.
Qualifications for the role
- You have experience as a service engineer or as an industrial electrician.
- You can read both mechanical and electrical drawings and if you are also an experienced user of measuring equipment in a switchgear environment, it is meritorious.
- Experience of having worked with similar products before including ABB's power products is meritorious.
- You have a B driving license.
- You are fluent in both spoken and written English and Swedish.
- As a person, you are sociable, meticulous and always put work safety first.
- You have a good sense of humor and an open and empathetic attitude towards customers and colleagues.
