Your role and responsibilities

Take your next career step together with our team at ABB. We are driving the transformation of both society and industry for a more productive and sustainable future.

You will be an important part of our team that delivers solutions and services in digitalization, electrification and automation for ABB's customers in Norrbotten. To meet the demand from our customers, we are recruiting a system engineer for northern Sweden. We have offices all over the country but the location for this role is in Luleå.

You will lead, coordinate and implement system solutions for our customers that are based on ABB's industrial control system 800xA.

In the role, you deliver everything from technical support to implementation in service agreements and customer projects.

You will lead all parts of the assignment from design to commissioning, follow-up and after-sales. Your work involves responsibility for your own and your colleagues' work planning, the assignment's budget and that the execution takes place with a risk-conscious approach.

The role involves a large element of spreading your knowledge both internally in our organization and externally to our customers. An important part of the work is to be advisory in strategic issues together with our customers. You share ABB's core values of security and integrity and take responsibility for your own actions, your colleagues and the business.

Qualifications for the role

  • You are a curious person with the drive to constantly develop and an unpretentious leader who thrives on leading and coordinating the work we do together with our customers.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows client and server operating systems, domains, GPO, TCP/IP-based networks, firewalls and virtualization solutions is an advantage.
  • You have several years of work experience in IT, automation, or a combination of the two.
  • As you will work in a global company, you need to master Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
  • It is a prerequisite for the service that you have a B-driving license as the work involves periodic travel within the region.
