Your role and responsibilities

As a Product Owner, you will be part of our team maintaining the Advant Master family. Your responsibilities include being the overall technical lead for the software that links these products to ABB's 800xA platform. This means everything from making technical decisions, requirements management towards parent system projects and the coordination of our contribution to these. You will work in a senior team and have a close collaboration with the product family product manager. This position means that you will have a central role in our business and will work closely with colleagues both in Sweden and abroad. We are now looking for you who have a strong interest in embedded systems and want to be technically responsible for a product family within ABB's control systems.

This position is geographically located in Västerås, Sweden, with the possibility of hybrid work.


  • As a Technical Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in bridging system requirements from product management and ensure that they are clearly defined and well understood
  • You will be responsible for setting goals and removing obstacles to drive the team towards successful results
  • An important part of your work will be to support our software developers in troubleshooting, project managing maintenance work as well as the ongoing agile planning
  • You will work closely with other departments such as technical customer service regarding customer cases.


Qualifications for the role

  • To succeed, you need to be a civil or university engineer with experience in embedded systems and or distributed control systems (DCS)
  • Experience working in a software development organization and Azure DevOps (or similar)

  • Good and clear communication skills, you collaborate excellently with colleagues, have a clear drive and dare to make decisions
  • You speak and write fluently in Swedish and English
