Your role and responsibilities

ABB Electrification is one of the leading providers of electric power products, systems and services around the world. The market is growing and we need more people. At ABB Electrification Service, we strive to be close to our customers and are therefore represented in several locations around Sweden - from Gällivare in the north to Malmö in the south. Right now we are looking for you who want to immerse yourself in the field of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and be part of our growth journey within the Power Protection team, located in Kista. We have a long-term plan for this position where you will have good opportunities to familiarize yourself with the technology and our offering together with our Power Protection team.

After building up a good product knowledge, a natural next development step is to take on more responsibility. Our mission within the Power Protection team is to design, integrate and deliver, as well as provide services that increase reliability, availability and profitability while reducing risks in the customer's production facilities. We cover the entire plant lifecycle and help our customers work on continuous improvement.

This position reports to the Marketing & Sales Manager.

In this role, you will be an important part of our growth journey in Uninterruptible Power Supply, UPS. Here are examples of responsibilities in the role:

  • You will work closely with our Power Protection team who are involved in the design, packaging and sales of UPS solutions.
  • You will work both as a sales person and mini project manager where you will receive customer calls/request documentation, understand customer requirements and prepare offers to customers with the right technical solution and lead the entire journey with customers from the request to the delivery/handover to the customer together and with the help of your colleagues on the UPS team (Manager, planner and technician)
  • You will be in contact with suppliers and partners to find the best technical solution for the customer.
  • For the right person, there are very good development opportunities to, for example, work more towards project management, system technical design or team management.
  • You are based in ABB's office (Kista).

Qualifications for the role

  • You are a driven and curious person who takes pride in your commitment and delivering results.
  • You have post-secondary education in electrical engineering/electrical engineer/control engineer and previous experience as a salesperson for electrical end-to-end solutions for industry/data center/critical facilities.
  • You have previous experience with UPS, batteries and DC systems. Experience in sales is highly meritorious.
  • You want to immerse yourself and develop in the UPS area.
  • You have a B driving license and are used to using a computer and the Office package in your work.
  • You are fluent in both English and Swedish in speech and writing.
  • As a person, you are careful and technically interested with an open and empathetic attitude towards customers and colleagues and are driven by further development.
