Your role and responsibilities

ABB Measurement & Analytics is now looking for a strategic and result-oriented salesperson to drive sales in the Gas Analysis product area towards energy and industrial customers in the Swedish market. You will be part of ABB Measurement & Analytics, a division within the Process Automation business area. Our focus is to make installation, use and maintenance of instruments and analyzers as easy as possible.

You will have great freedom under responsibility in the role and have the opportunity to influence both your work tasks and your development. You will work with the latest technology in a competent and committed team. The role involves frequent travel, with a strong focus on building strong customer relationships and understanding customer needs directly on site. The location is flexible - you can work from your home, as long as you have good commuting options to areas between Gothenburg and Stockholm.

Your responsibilities

  • As a salesperson with us, you will have a key role in driving and developing business in Swedish industry, focusing on industries such as paper & pulp and the energy sector. You will identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships and ensure that both existing and new customers receive innovative solutions that create value.
  • You work strategically and proactively with a high level of activity to maximize the customer experience and ensure long-term business relationships.
  • By developing and executing sales activities according to our sales plan, you will work closely with our Account Teams and local business centers to find new paths to success and deliver tailored solutions to our customers.
  • You will own the sales process from first contact to closing, supported by our technical sales specialists and product managers. You will have the freedom to take your own initiatives, while being supported by a strong team.

Qualifications for the role

  • You have a technical education and a strong interest in technology.
  • You have several years of experience in analytical technology.
  • You thrive in customer meetings and have a clear commercial profile.
  • You have experience with CRM systems and modern IT tools.
  • You are strategic, relationship-building and skilled at navigating within customers' organizations.
  • Your drive and business acumen, together with your creativity, will be important success factors.
  • You are fluent in Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
