Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be part of ABB Force Measurement in Västerås.

Force Measurement is a factory with global responsibility for production, development, sales, service and marketing. We offer reliable equipment for measurement and control in metal, paper and marine applications. Our products are used in a variety of industries and processes and are designed to improve productivity, control and quality.


Your responsibilities:

  • As a forklift driver, you will work with loading and unloading trucks.
  • You will also supply the production workshop with incoming materials, take care of emptying containers, internal deliveries of goods and any side assignments that require a counterbalance truck.
  • As a person, you have both the will and the ability to cooperate to become part of the group that works with warehouse work.
  • As a warehouse worker, you are mainly part of the group that handles transport packing of our customers' orders.
  • With us, it is important that you are a team player who is prepared to "jump in" where you are needed at the moment in order for us to be able to fulfill our promises to the customer.
  • We work with business development and everyone is expected to take an active role in improving our processes and contributing to increased customer satisfaction.


Qualifications for the role

  • The position requires you to have a forklift, reach truck and counterbalance truck license (A2, B1, B2) As some of the work is done on "public roads", you are required to have a B driving license.
  • To succeed in the role, you need to have a good ability to work in a team and have an acceptance that we are all different.
  • You are persistent and can work while maintaining concentration for a long time.
  • As you are the last outpost before delivery to the customer, it is extra important that you take pride in doing the right thing, taking responsibility and delivering results.
  • In our production, there is a strong focus on health and safety where everyone contributes to a healthy workplace that is constantly improving.
  • You need to be able to communicate in Swedish and English in both writing and speech.
  • It is an advantage if you currently work with warehouse work and have experience of SAP.
