Your role and responsibilities

Do you enjoy freedom with responsibility and want to work in a flexible and pleasant work environment? We are now looking for a Workshop Technician / Field Service Technician who is also responsible for test driving in our test room at ABB Motion in Storvik, Motors & Generators.

• Work in a workshop environment with several colleagues close at hand.
• Renovate motors and generators when they come in for service.
• Test run fully renovated motors.
• Document the job during the repair process.
• Perform motor replacements on site at the customer, which means field work when needed.

Qualifications for the role

• Background as an Industrial Mechanic, Industrial Electrician, Industrial Technician or equivalent mechanical or electrical experience.
• Creative and quick thinking to solve unique service cases.
• A thorough problem solver who puts safety first.
• Structured and independent with good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written.
• B driving license is a requirement
