Job description

AFRY's Technical Communication business segment is growing and we are now looking for a Technology Information Officer. As a Technical Communicator you are the link between technology and people. You work on producing manuals, catalogs and instruction guides. You are a professional at sorting, selecting and structuring large amounts of information so that it is easily accessible and clear to absorb.

As a consultant at AFRY, you are permanently employed by us, but get the opportunity to work with many different clients in different types of assignments. We carry out assignments for a large number of different industries, which means that we can offer you a wide variety of tasks with opportunities to work in, for example, the automotive industry, medical technology, defense industry or other interesting manufacturing industries of, among other things, consumer products from well-known brands.

Examples of assignments that we in the group work with are:

• Manuals
• Spare parts catalogs
• Facility documentation

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in technology, pedagogy and who are good at expressing yourself in writing in Swedish and English. If you can also make simpler illustrations, this is a big plus.  

You are good at structuring and boiling down large amounts of information into short clear messages. You are structured and thorough, work well in a team but also have your own drive forward.

What we are looking for above all is a colleague who wants to contribute to and work in a positive work environment where we share our knowledge and value working in teams. The ability to understand the needs of customers and focus on solving their problems is a matter of course in our everyday life.

Knowledge requirements:

• Education in the field / a few years of experience in a similar role
• Experience working in XML-based systems
• Knowledge of what DITA and topics are
• Good pedagogical skills
• Speaks fluent Swedish and English

Meriterative:

• Previous experience with STE
• Experience working in the defense industry
• Security clearance
