About the role

AFRY in Trollhättan within the Automotive area is now looking for a Geometrical Assurance Engineer who wants to contribute to our continued development of the vehicles of the future.

As a geometry assurance engineer, you will play an important role in ensuring that our technical projects and deliveries meet the highest standards of precision.

Your tasks include:

• Performing geometric calculations and analyses to ensure form and function.
• Conducting tolerance calculations and checking that all components and subsystems comply with the set specifications.
• Analyze and document geometric variations during the development process and in construction
• Cross-functional collaboration with designers, project managers and other stakeholders to optimize design solutions and resolve any geometric issues.

Requirements

• Relevant engineering degree (university engineer or equivalent).
• Experience in geometric and tolerance calculations, experience from the automotive or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of CAD programs (eg Catia, Creo)
• Knowledge of simulation software, eg, RD&T, 3DCS.
• Ability to analyze and solve technical problems with high accuracy.
• Ability to work both independently and in teams in a dynamic work environment.
