We are growing in the Automation area and are now looking for a Group Manager with the ability to engage and inspire people for our operations in Stockholm.

The section belongs to the Advanced Automation business area, which consists of several units and sections, and together we work successfully in most industries. The business is based in offices around the country and we carry out assignments throughout Sweden and also support customers abroad. The business area has a good delivery capacity and expertise in automation, IT and system solutions in various industries and sectors linked to industry and production. Our delivery methods include strategic consulting, turnkey projects, team-based project deliveries and interim solutions for both management and more operational roles.

About the role

Your task will be to lead and further develop our Stockholm-based business! You will do this using your technical expertise and driving delivery skills; which includes goal-oriented work with everything from service development, marketing and sales to recruitment and development of the team's employees. In this role, you will be involved in building our leadership team, working closely with the Head of Section, Emil, and the Head of Business Unit, Pär, both based in Stockholm. Ensuring and strengthening the business unit's delivery capability will be very much up to you, the employees and our common plan and strategy.

Our section in Stockholm has 25 fantastic employees in Stockholm and Södertälje who are specialists in automation, electrical design, electrical power and project management. We are responsible for both entire project deliveries in-house, as well as in a more classic consulting solution spirit out in the customer's business. As a group manager, you have both a financial mission and a technology-oriented focus. But your most important task is to lead and coach both experienced specialists and young talents in the team. As a leader, your coaching role will be crucial to motivate and foster long-term development. It is important for us that our employees feel that they have the opportunity to be the right person at the right place in their career, here you as a manager have an important role.

Requirement specification

The most important thing for us is that you are a person who likes technology and is motivated by developing and improving both businesses and people. We imagine that you are a person who is communicative, curious and good at building good relationships. You are motivated by the success of others, like to do things in new ways and thrive in working closely with others.

In combination with this, you have a great interest in industry and automation as these are important components of the service. You see your own development potential in leadership, sales and customer work; you have a great interest in people and in creating business and want to learn more about it. You may not have previous experience in sales or human resources but you want to develop in that direction. We also see that you have the following with you:

  • Experience in similar activities and in running and working with projects in the industry, in electricity and / or automation or the electric power industry.
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of, for example, ABB 800xA, Siemens PCS7 or equivalent.
  • Educationally, we see that you are a civil engineer or acquired equivalent experience from elsewhere.
  • B driving license and master both Swedish and English well in both speech and writing.
