Our section, Electrical Power at AFRY, is today a group of 25 colleagues located in Gothenburg and Trollhättan, working in a specialist group in electrical power. We like to learn from each other and do fun things together. With us, you are part of a team that works from the idea stage to completed project and finished plant in industry. With our broad and deep expertise, we have the opportunity to help both our customers and each other succeed and develop.
We run advanced electrical power projects for our external customers ranging from heavy petrochemical operations to vehicle development/manufacturing to complex hospital facilities. We also support the various divisions within AFRY with our specialist electrical power expertise. This means that we are present throughout AFRY's customer base, which is incredibly exciting. About the role
With us, the role as an inspection engineer means that you will work with electrical audit inspections in combination with other electrical power-related areas such as construction inspections, testing or measurements.
We support not only external clients but also the different divisions within AFRY with our specialized competence in electrical power and inspection, which means that you will have internal as well as external partners in your daily work. You will work with different types of projects and assignments, which will be governed by your competence, the customer's needs and your personal ambition and development plan. Our section offers you exciting and challenging tasks in a nice team that is happy to welcome more electrical power colleagues.
Requirement specification
We are now looking for an Electrical Board authorized Inspection Engineer. As you are responsible for ensuring electrical installations and solutions, it is crucial that you are a thorough, structured and technically interested person who drives things from idea to finish - you do not give up as soon as it takes. We imagine that you value collaborating and engaging with others, building relationships and being accountable in what you do. In addition to this, you are interested in developing yourself and helping to develop your colleagues and customers - you enjoy building contacts both externally and internally. In addition to this description, we hope that you recognize yourself in the following:
- Authorized by the fire protection association Elektriska Nämnden, as this is required to work with electrical audits.
- A YH education or post-secondary education in electrical power or electricity.
- Worked with electricity for many years, for example as an electrician or in electrical power.
- B driving license as travel is a natural part of your role.
- Master Swedish and English in speech and writing as this is required in dialogue with both customers and colleagues.
