About the role
As an Automation Engineer at AFRY, you will develop solutions for our clients in virtually all industrial sectors, with a particularly strong position in the energy, automotive, mining, process and forestry industries.
The assignments can be anything from minor programming changes or upgrades of existing systems to new construction and the construction of new systems and factories. You will work with documentation, commissioning or project management depending on your interest and experience. Delivery takes place through expert services as well as complete functional or total commitments.
The group within Advanced Automation in Örebro currently consists of 13 colleagues, two of whom currently work with ABB AC450 and 800 xA and are also certified on AC800HI.
Our group has high technical expertise in several technology areas and collaborates both internally/externally and with other AFRY offices around the country. Well-being and keeping a community within the group and also the entire office is something we prioritize, it can be anything from training, bowling to festive events with the entire office.
You will most likely work towards some of AFRY's largest customers either under AFRY's auspices or directly in customers' operations.
Requirement specification
We are looking for automation engineers with experience of working with complex solutions. We would like to see that you enjoy building contacts both externally and internally and that you are stimulated by sharing knowledge between colleagues. It is important that you enjoy your work and have fun at work, so we attach great importance to your personal qualities. To thrive with us, we believe that you are flexible and have the ability to work on several projects at the same time.
In terms of experience, you fit the following description:
- Relevant education in the field or equivalent work experience.
- Experienced engineer, technician or equivalent with many years of experience in automation, with experience of ABB 800xA.
- Have a B-driving license as traveling in periods is a natural part of your role.
- Master both Swedish and English well in both speech and writing.
It is meritorious if you have experience of older ABB products AC450 and MP200 and experience of system upgrades.
