Job description
As an automation engineer at AFRY, you have the opportunity to work in interesting projects for different types of businesses and customers. You will be part of commissioning, programming and projecting automation systems in industry. The role includes methodical troubleshooting and programming in PLC/SCADA/DCS as well as quality assurance of documentation. You will also participate in improvement work linked to processes and certifications as well as optimize and streamline processes and systems.
You get the chance to follow the course of projects from idea to commissioned facility for various customers. In some projects you follow the customer's standard and in other cases you set the standard. Helping customers with both acute and long-term problems/opportunities is something you enjoy and are motivated by.

Requirements specification
To succeed well in the role, we believe that you:
- has competence in one or more automation systems from, for example, ABB, Siemens or Emerson
- has an understanding of DCS, PLC, SCADA, OPC-UA and OPC-DA
- understands functional diagrams, P&IDs and wiring diagrams
- has at least a 3-year university engineering education
- has a B driver's license
- can communicate freely in Swedish and with basic knowledge of English
It is advantageous if you have insights regarding Cyber Security within automation systems and have experience of working with automation in the process industry.
