Job description
In the role of Automation Engineer you will identify, develop and design automation solutions. You will also be important for ensuring the operation of automation solutions in the business through troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Project management and teamwork are a natural part of the role to drive the business forward. You are a central role in the installation, commissioning and optimization of processes.
Qualifications
You are a civil engineer or university engineer in automation, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or equivalent with experience in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens, ABB). You have an understanding of diagnostics and problem solving in complex automation systems. Experience from, for example, the manufacturing industry, the automotive industry, the food industry or the process industry is meritorious.
* Experience of C, C++, Python or equivalent for the integration of automation solutions.
* Basic understanding of systems such as SAP to integrate production data.
* Database management: Knowledge of SQL to manage and analyze production data.
* Knowledge of industrial standards such as CE marking, ISO 9001, IEC 61131, EN ISO 13849 or IEC 62061.
* Certifications in automation systems can be meritorious, for example Siemens Certified Programmer.
As a person, you are analytical and like to solve problems. You are a team player and thrive in dynamic environments. Structure and delivery are important to you.
Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
You should be able to travel to other production facilities or customers' operations.
Driving license is often a requirement to be able to visit external facilities.
Requirement for this position is that you complete a negative drug test before starting.
