In the section, we work with exciting projects where we contribute with expertise and knowledge for technology-intensive automation services to our clients. Locally, we work with the market's largest customers in exciting projects that are partly run in-house in our own project business, and partly out at our customers. Our customers and assignments are found in a number of sectors, but mainly in industry, infrastructure and energy.
At the section, we are about twenty colleagues who work with mechanics, automation and machine safety, and are part of the Advanced Automation business area. Our team has different and complementary backgrounds and competencies. About the role
As an automation engineer focusing on our business within delivery projects, you will work with automation in all phases.
In this role with us, you will be a key person in the work with our delivery projects and will have the opportunity to take great responsibility for developing the business forward.
Working as an Automation Engineer with us and in this role means working with everything from initial investigations, system and functional descriptions to programming, commissioning and aftermarket work.
You work mainly from our AFRY office in Borlänge, but during investigations and commissioning you are of course out working in the customer's process plants.
Requirement specification
We believe that you are a person who likes to work with technology and likes problem solving. You are a self-starter and good at building relationships with others.
We also value your planning skills, your collaboration and communication skills, and your initiative. To succeed well and thrive in the role, we also believe that you have:
- A technical education at secondary or higher education level, or have acquired equivalent knowledge in another way.
- Several years of experience in automation and delivery projects in industry.
- You are used to working in all phases of projects and taking responsibility for your area.
- Good knowledge of programming PLC, DCS, HMI;
- for example, DCS systems, such as. Siemens PCS7, Siemens Neo and ABB 800XA.
- B-driving license as there is travel in the service.
- Fluent language skills in Swedish and English.
