Company Description

AFRY has a global reach with deep roots in the Nordics. Together, we accelerate the transition to a more sustainable society.

About the role

Our clients are facing major changes driven by new technological solutions and we are looking for you who want to be part of making a difference! Right now we are recruiting engineers who want to join us on the journey towards the future of automation and digitization in Life Science.

The Electrical, Automation & Industrial IT section in the Food & Pharma business area is looking for you who want to work with Automation, PLC & SCADA / DCS systems for the manufacture of medicines. Every year we deliver a number of projects that include development, design, construction, instrumentation, component selection, cabinet deliveries, installation management, commissioning and preparation of tender documents, etc. Our section works with customer-specific solutions, such as feasibility studies, projects, conversions and extensions and specialist assignments both "in-house" from our office and directly at the customer. We are mainly active in the production of pharmaceuticals, but also in other industries where close collaboration with other disciplines such as industrial IT, electrical & instrumentation, process design, pipe construction and validation is common.

AFRY has a large number of experienced employees in automation with colleagues from all over the country. We have a good cohesion in the section, which consists of several experienced engineers with mixed skills and experience. We work with guidance and mentoring to ensure that new employees get the best possible start with us!

The position is based at our head office in Solna, with the possibility of working at one of our offices in Södertälje or Uppsala. If you have a driver's license, we see it as an advantage as there is travel in the service.
