AFRY has a global reach with deep roots in the Nordics. Together, we are accelerating the transition to a more sustainable society.

Job description

Do you have extensive experience in digitalization and BIM and want to take the next step in your career? Then this is the position for you!

We have our foundation in the BIM business and work with everything from requirement setting and methodology to quality assurance and implementation of smart digital systems. Our clients are in a range of industries - from hospitals, schools and medical technology to industry and commercial real estate.

As a Senior BIM Strategist, you will work on challenging multi-disciplinary projects through all stages of the construction process. You will play a key role in developing and implementing BIM and information management strategies, both internally and externally. An important part of the work is to analyze and identify steps and processes that can be streamlined and automated to create a more structured and data-driven construction process.

As an assignment-leading BIM strategist, you will be a driving force in winning tenders and planning and implementing assignments according to our quality system.

In addition to the strategic work, you will be hands-on by developing scripts, creating routines, setting up models, conducting reviews and establishing coordination areas

You will also help develop and lead the section's BIM coordinators, where you drive skills development and methodology in digital working methods.

At Information Excellence, you will be part of a committed and competent team that together creates the conditions for successful projects. As part of AFRY, you will also have access to a strong network of 19,000 experts in technology, digitization and sustainable development.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role, we look for you to have a solid background in BIM and digital information management. You have a strategic understanding of how digitalization can streamline the construction process and a strong desire to drive development forward.

We are looking for you who have:

  • Over 10 years of experience working with BIM and digitalization in the construction and real estate industry
  • Deep understanding of BIM, information coordination and digital work methodologies
  • Deficient experience of working in large multidisciplinary projects
  • Extensive knowledge of BIM tools and collaboration platforms such as Bluebeam, Cadium, Navisworks, Solibri, AutoCAD, Revit, ACC, Dalux, Interaxo and SharePoint
  • Good insight into relevant standards and requirements within BIM and information management
  • A strong understanding of the different stages of the construction process and how BIM can be used to optimize these

We are actively working with automation and streamlining, and it is meritorious if you have experience of using tools such as FME, Dynamo or similar. If you also have experience with ICT requirements and the opportunity to work on site in the Copenhagen area a few days a week, it is an advantage.

As a person, you are structured, clear and communicative. You have a drive to motivate and engage colleagues, while creating and maintaining good relationships with our customers. You see challenges rather than problems and have well-developed self-leadership skills. Leading a team towards common goals comes naturally to you.

You have good knowledge of both Swedish and English in speech and writing
