About the role
The role of Sub-Project Lead Electrical Designer is both broad and varied, giving you the opportunity to customize the role according to your experience and ambitions. In the project management part of the role, you will be responsible for projects, while your experience allows you to coach and support more junior colleagues. Tasks will include design work of, among other things, cabinets and upgrades in existing systems, but also new construction of completely new systems. You will also work with commissioning, system descriptions, and/or project management in electricity, depending on interest and experience. The projects you work on are likely to be with some of AFRY's largest clients, either under AFRY's auspices or directly in clients' operations. The assignments are mainly local and often with recurring customers, common to these is that we work exclusively with industry.

Our assignments and project teams are varied and we therefore hope that you enjoy the variety that the role offers, and appreciate working with new people. In addition to this, you have the following:
- Many years of experience working in basic industries, such as the steel, engineering and mining industries or other manufacturing industries.
- Many years of practical experience in one or more of the areas of work management, field construction, assembly management and / or investigation against industrial machine installations, as well as preferably project / sub-project / assignment management experience.
- You also have a relevant technical education and speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English.
- As travel is a natural part of the service, a driving license is a requirement. However, we would like to emphasize that we operate in Södra Dalarna, so there is usually no longer travel.
We see it as highly meritorious if you have experience of performing investment calculations and used to conducting feasibility studies and preliminary design phases in industrial projects.
