As a consultant at AFRY, you get to combine your defense technology background with a technology-related role.

We are looking for you who want to work in one or more areas of expertise:

  • Defense engineering (ground arena, naval systems, aviation and command and control systems)
  • Systems Engineering/Systems Engineer (systems work and a holistic perspective in working with technical systems throughout all or part of its life cycle)
  • ILS - Integrated Logistics Support as ILS Manager or ILS Engineer
  • Defense Logistics and Technical Services
  • Systems Security and Functional Safety
  • IT Security and Cyber Security

You can either work as a technical specialist, generalist or project manager in any of the described areas of expertise.



Requirements


We are looking for you with commitment and the drive to succeed! Experience as a consultant is an advantage, but your attitude is crucial. To succeed as a consultant with us, you need to have good initiative, collaboration skills and be good at communicating and taking responsibility for the challenges you face.

We want you to be at least a university engineer and have at least several years of professional experience from a technology-related role from defense, the defense industry or related areas. You have a good understanding of the systems life cycle process, good experience of requirements management, requirements verification and ILS. As most of our customers are Swedish defense industry and authorities, you should be able to express yourself well in both Swedish and English.

Swedish citizenship is a requirement and security clearance may be required prior to employment.

Depending on the assignment, the work is performed either from the office or at the customer. Travel may be required.

Locations: Solna, Enköping, Uppsala, Skövde, Karlstad, Örebro and Kristinehamn.
