We are looking for a Consulting Manager for our Life Science business area with a focus on digitalization in MedTech and Pharma. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of consultants working with Electrical & Instrumentation, Automation and Industrial IT, and be an important part of our continued growth and development in these areas.
Duties: As a Consultant Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks:
- Personal responsibilities: Lead and develop a team of electronics developers and automation experts.
- Sales and Recruitment Responsibility: Actively work to find and recruit the right talent, as well as develop business and customer relationships.
- Resource Assurance: Ensure that resources and competencies are available to meet our internal and customer needs.
- Customer facing work: Work closely with our consultants and customers to ensure that deliveries and projects are carried out with the highest quality.
- Travel: The role may involve travel in Mälardalen for projects and customer meetings.
Expectations and objectives:
- Create and nurture strong customer relationships, especially in MedTech and Pharma.
- Drive sales and find new business opportunities.
- Lead and develop the staff and create a good working environment, where everyone thrives and develops.

Long-term tasks:
In the long term, your tasks may evolve, with the opportunity to take greater responsibility in strategy and business development for AFRY's Life Science segment.
Requirements specification
We are looking for you who have:
- Experience in Electrical/Automation and/or Industrial IT.
- Experience working within/with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
- Experience from a leading role (formal or informal leadership).
- Ability to express yourself fluently in English and Swedish, both in speech and writing.
- Swedish B-driving license.
Advantages:
- Civil or University engineer in relevant technical field.
- Experience in sales of technical solutions.
- Previous experience working in MedTech or Pharma.
