About the role

Our consultants in Nuclear run projects and carry out assignments in several technical areas; mechanical/process, electrical/automation, construction and industry-specific areas such as reactor safety and radioactive waste. Our assignments can include everything from feasibility studies to plant modifications. The projects can take place both under AFRY's auspices and as a hired resource at the customer's site, and we carry out projects of varying sizes ranging from component replacements to complex modernization projects. In other words, we have a broad competence and long experience that gives us the opportunity to help both our customers and each other to develop as well as to create and improve conditions for nuclear operations!
Whether you want to work as a nuclear specialist or as a designer, AFRY Nuclear is the place for you. We are especially curious about those who have experience in any of the following areas:

Requirements
Competence, as we all know, comes in different shapes and packages, but what unites us at Nuclear is that we all see ourselves as Brave, Devoted, Teamplayers. As you will often work in parallel assignments, it is also important that you have the ability to quickly absorb new knowledge and create structure in your everyday life. This is to be able to adapt to different types of expectations and manage your projects in the best way, both for you and your customers.
In addition to these personal skills, we are looking for you who have previous work experience of working in the nuclear power industry.
In addition, we see that you have:
- Relevant engineering education or work experience that the employer considers equivalent.
- Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, as Swedish is used frequently within AFRY and with our customers.
- B-driving license as travel is a natural part of the role.
As the service operates in security-classified areas, you will be required to undergo drug tests and security checks before employment can begin.

In this role, there is the opportunity to start from one of our fine offices in Uppsala, Stockholm or Västerås. Travel occurs on a weekly basis to our customers' nuclear power plants.
