About the role
We are looking for an experienced Precision Engineer to join our team in the packaging industry. You will play a key role in our design team, where you will participate in the development and design of an advanced machine for packaging material manufacturing. The position is located in Lund and gives you the opportunity to work on exciting and innovative projects.
As part of a team of 5-7 experienced designers, you will develop and design fine mechanical components and machine elements for packaging machines. You will be responsible for ensuring correct dimensioning, tolerances and quality control of the components, as well as applying knowledge in Form and Position to ensure precision and functionality. In your daily work, you will use Autodesk Inventor to create and modify technical drawings and develop solutions with high precision and accuracy, where the focus is on achieving high quality.
We are looking for you who have at least 5 years of documented experience working with Autodesk Inventor, with solid knowledge in dimensioning, tolerances and machine elements. You will have a strong understanding of fine mechanics and accuracy in design and knowledge of shape and position according to international standards. Experience in the food and packaging industry is an advantage, and good written and verbal communication skills are essential. You should be able to work both independently and collaboratively with the team.
