Job description
Our high-tech customer in Trollhättan is currently in an exciting and highly expansive phase and needs the support of an engineer specializing in cooling systems.
In the role, you will belong to the department that is responsible for and supports product support issues as well as in the development and upgrades of jet engines. A large part of the business is focused on the JAS 39 Gripen engines RM12 and RM16, but also stationary gas turbines and working with the next generation engine concept are part of the department's activities.
The team currently works with various engine subsystems, such as fuel systems, oil systems and with extra focus on cooling systems. We are looking for a driven leader who will work closely with the product and its maintenance, which provides good opportunities to participate in testing and other maintenance activities.
Typical tasks:
- Technology work for cooling system concepts
- Development of methods for analysis and testing
- Coordinate simulation of concepts
- Lead test work and demonstration opportunities
Qualifications
You have a college or university degree in mechanical engineering, engineering physics, electrical engineering, aeronautical engineering or other relevant engineering degree. You speak Swedish and English, both spoken and written. As a person, you are well organized and structured, driven, careful and positive and have a good habit of leading a team of about 5-15 employees.
We see it as meritorious if you have previous experience from working in the aerospace industry or from working with fuel systems, oil systems, cooling systems, hydromechanical and electrical devices.
For this position, you may be required to undergo a security clearance, in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
