Job description
AFRY is a leading technology consulting company with big ambitions. Our customers want to increase their cooperation with us, which means that we are in an exciting development phase. We are looking for new committed and competent employees to strengthen our business in discrete event simulation (DES), in material flows in production and logistics. Our DES business today has one of the largest simulation teams in Northern Europe, with a national and international customer base and hundreds of completed simulation projects. Qualifications
We are looking for you who have either recently completed a technical education at college or university, preferably with experience from industry. Alternatively, you have a technical education and 1-3 years of work experience in modeling and analysis of material flows through discrete event simulation.
As a consultant with us, you will carry out and lead simulation projects both independently, as well as together with colleagues under the direction of the customer.
You are customer-oriented in that you show great commitment to the customer and are responsive to their wishes. As a person, you are positive, curious and driven while being creative and passionate about problem solving. An interest in programming is an asset. Sharing your knowledge with customers and colleagues is a given. You thrive on the idea of quickly adapting to new environments, working with new employees and constantly developing your skills.
We would like you to have experience from several of these areas:
- Material flow simulation with Plant Simulation, FlexSim or similar
- Experience in production and warehouse logistics
- Dimensioning of buffers, warehouses and material flows
- Data analysis and processing
- Process mapping and flow analyses
