We at the Advanced Automation section in Gothenburg and Varberg work with really exciting projects where we contribute with expertise and knowledge for technology-intensive automation services to our customers. Locally, we work with the market's largest customers in exciting projects that are partly run in-house in our own project operations and partly at our customers. Our customers and assignments are found in a number of sectors, but mainly in industry, infrastructure and energy, and we run future projects in areas such as production and research and development. In some projects you follow the client's standard and in some projects you set the standard; your expertise is therefore crucial to the success of our clients and AFRY.
In the section, we are about 55 colleagues with a common interest in technology, automation, electrical design and sustainability. We work in various roles, including technical project managers, automation engineers and electrical designers. Our team has grown over the past few years and our backgrounds and competencies differ and complement each other. About the role
As an electrical designer at AFRY, you will be responsible for projects in industrial operations, where the working methods vary depending on the assignment. Often you will have the opportunity to follow the course of the project all the way from idea to commissioned plant.
We work with exciting projects, large and small, where you will mainly work with electrical design in various projects where you have a breadth of assignments. Your tasks can involve everything from design work in the form of construction of cabinets or upgrades in existing systems to new construction and construction of completely new systems. You will also work with commissioning, system descriptions and / or project management in electricity depending on interest and experience.
With us, you get the opportunity to develop in collaboration with a large group of experienced specialists and get a wide network of contacts with the industry's most important customers. In addition to contributing to our projects, we are keen to collaborate, network and meet within the team for social and development activities. This happens both spontaneously and in a controlled manner, among other things, we usually organize joint meals, conferences and training.
Requirements specification
We are looking for you who have:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant technical field.
- A few years of experience in electrical design, preferably in industrial automation.
- Good knowledge of one of the CAD tools: Eplan and / or ElproCad.
- B-driving license as travel is included in the service.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing as this occurs with our customers.
Moreover, for this role, it is advantageous if you have experience of electrical cabinet design, machine safety and calculation work, as well as if you have knowledge of dimensioning and selective plans.
