At AFRY Advanced Automation, we work with exciting and technology-intensive assignments where we deliver customized automation services to clients in both the private and public sectors.
About the role
Right now, we are in the middle of a major rebuilding project where we are developing a wastewater treatment plant in Stockholm into one of the world's most modern. The project includes a new treatment plant with modern membrane technology to increase capacity and meet increased environmental requirements. It is an exciting project where AFRY is responsible for all electrical construction and automation. Today, about 35 people work in the internal project around our offices in Stockholm. The work is carried out from our premises and the project is now entering a new phase, which means that we will strengthen the project team with a senior electrical designer located at our office in Solna or Södertälje.
As an electrical designer at AFRY, you will have the chance to follow the projects from idea to commissioned plant for different customers. In some projects you will follow the client's standard and in other cases you will set the standard - your expertise is therefore crucial to the success of several of our clients and AFRY. When you enter the role, you will work with the execution in the treatment plant project and with a team of specialists from AFRY be involved in the work around a future-proof plant. The role with us is broad and varied and we as an employer offer you a dynamic and developing work. Requirement specification
As you will be working to find solutions to advanced problems, we would like to see that you like problem solving. We envisage that you will value working with others and be committed, relationship building and responsible. In addition to this, you are interested in developing yourself and being involved in developing your colleagues and customers. To be relevant for the position, we see that you meet the following requirements:
- Have relevant education in the field, for example as a civil engineer, college engineer, high school engineer, YH engineer, or equivalent work experience.
- A few years of experience as an electrical designer, instrument engineer or from a similar role. Preferably from a role in process, industry, power generation or similar.
- Good knowledge of Eplan Electric P8, AutoCAD and ELPROCAD. Experience of Insyde is highly meritorious.
- Have a B driving license as travel in periods is a natural part of your role.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
