About the role

AFRY has for many years successfully supported energy producers and distributors. The energy market is currently experiencing its largest growth since Sweden was electrified and the need for investments in the distribution and transmission networks is enormous in the coming years. At AFRY Distribution, we are currently about 50 consultants who are involved in building and developing the electricity network of the future and we need more!

Our assignments can include everything from feasibility studies, planning and design to complete plant modifications. The projects can take place both under AFRY's auspices and as a hired resource at the customer. We carry out projects of varying sizes ranging from maintenance, remodeling, new connections or reinvestments. In other words, we have a broad range of expertise that gives us the opportunity to help both our clients and each other to develop!

At AFRY, you will have the opportunity to develop in the role of Electrical Power Consultant and you will work closely with wonderful and competent colleagues and you will work closely with the industry's most important customers. Among other things, you will have the opportunity to work with design, preparation and construction, but also with power quality investigation, connection of wind and solar parks, project and construction management and assignment management. If you are interested in leadership, we would like you to take on the role of mentor for junior colleagues.

Furthermore, you are an unpretentious team player with a genuine interest in building and maintaining good relationships internally as well as externally, with a customer-oriented mindset.

To succeed in the role:

• Have a relevant technical education at secondary or tertiary level with a focus on electrical power/electricity or equivalent work experience.
• You have at least 3 years of competence and experience in the preparation, design and project management of the electricity network - alternatively competence and experience as a connection engineer, documentation engineer, network planner, construction manager or project manager.
• You have experience in the role of consultant.
• You speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English as both languages are frequently used both within AFRY and with our clients.
