We now have a need to strengthen our group with another technical consultant with a focus on maintenance assignments in electrical power. In this role, you will work on assignments for customers in the nuclear power industry, where the assignments may include, but not be limited to, the following tasks:

  • Maintenance of electrical equipment in power electronics such as. Relay protection, transformer and electric motors
  • Investigations and troubleshooting
  • Preventive maintenance planning
  • Optimization of routines and methods
  • Work management
  • Development of test programs and being responsible for testing during audit

This role will give you the opportunity to develop as a technical consultant in maintenance and electrical power, and the chance to work in various exciting assignments in a current and stable industry. As a consultant in this area, you work in assignments with placement at the customer, which in practice means that travel to Forsmark in particular will be included as a natural part of the work. There is the possibility of remote work depending on the tasks and as a consultant at AFRY, travel compensation is received.


Requirement specification

We are looking for you who are motivated by creating and maintaining many and good relationships with both customers and colleagues. The contact surfaces are multiple and we see good relationships as the best basis for creating trust with customers and to help you succeed together in the team. But equally important for the role is that you are driven and curious to learn new things. Since you may work in parallel assignments, it is also important that you have the ability to create structure in your everyday life to be able to manage your projects in the best way, both for you and your customers.

To succeed in the role, you need the following experience and background:

  • Post-secondary education in electrical power, energy systems, electrical engineering or similar
  • Previous practical experience of electrical power equipment
  • You speak and write fluently in Swedish and English, as both languages are frequently used within AFRY and with our customers

We see this as a merit:

  • Civil engineering degree in relevant field
  • Experience from the nuclear power industry
  • Experience as an assembler or maintenance engineer of electrical power equipment
  • Experience with high voltage

As the position operates in security classified areas, you will undergo drug tests and security checks before employment can begin.
