Job description

We are looking for you who want to join AFRY and work primarily with our customers in the defense industry The need for knowledge in electronics is growing and we need more people. They offer their customers effective solutions for surveillance, security, decision support, threat detection and protection. Technically, they are leaders in many areas and develop products and systems to deliver military capabilities, protect national security, and maintain critical information and infrastructure.

To succeed in the role, it is important to be able to work in a structured way and follow formal processes, as the development is often security-critical. You are an important part of the development of the customer's future products.  In the role, you will also be involved in other parts of the development process, for example through system work, requirements management, testing and delivery.

Qualifications

For this role, we are looking for you who have experience in one or more of these areas: 
- Electronics design
- PCB layout
- Embedded design
- ASIC / FPGA design
- Wiring design

In addition to an academic education, we see that you have good knowledge of English in speech and writing. It is meritorious if you have good knowledge of Swedish. We see that you are resident in Sweden.

Depending on the role you have experience in, we see that you know one or more of the following:
- Digital design, but also analog design and RF is of interest and preferably tools like Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro
- IP design and verification. - Cabling and preferably tools like Saber ES Designer and/or E3 Zuken.
- Signal and power integrity, simulations, EMC and preferably tools such as ADS, SIvave, HFSS, Hyperlynx.
- HW-related programming.
- Requirements management or systemization.
- Wireless communication, high speed links or similar.
- Troubleshooting, board bring-up, work in the lab.

Of course, we also attach great importance to your personal qualities. As a consultant, it is important that you work independently and are used to taking your own initiatives. As many assignments are in collaboration with both customers and colleagues, you should also have good social skills and enjoy working in a group.
