We in Automation at AFRY work with really exciting projects where we have overall responsibility for technology-intensive automation services. We help our customers with robotic production systems/production lines, from concept to completion as well as with service and support. Locally, we work with the market's largest customers in exciting projects that are carried out at customers' sites and in-house in our own project operations. Because we take overall responsibility for our deliveries, with us you get the opportunity to lead, operate and be responsible for our deliveries. We who work in the section are experts in mechanical design, electrical design, PLC and robot programming as well as installation and commissioning.
About the role
In the role of mechanical designer with us, you will be a key person in the work with our projects. The role includes participation in everything from early stages when developing concepts and calculations to construction in ongoing projects and turnkey deliveries.
A large part of your work is to collaborate with other people both internally and externally and to learn from and share knowledge with others around you. We believe that the best results and that you have the most fun at work when we create the conditions together. Requirements specification
To succeed in this role, we believe that you are motivated by working in a challenging and dynamic work environment and are solution-oriented and forward-thinking in what you undertake. To succeed well and thrive in the role, we believe you have:
- An appropriate technical education and/or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in mechanics and construction, preferably linked to Body in White or other industrial machine projects.
- Good knowledge of and experience working in Catia V5 or other similar CAD design programs.
- Knowledge of turnkey deliveries and projects and interest in working in project form.
- Ability to communicate well in Swedish and English.
- B driver's license.
We would like you to have experience in industrial mechanics and machine construction. Are you a specialist in mechanical design or a project manager in mechanics - don't hesitate to apply.
