At the Advanced Automation section in Kalmar, we work on really exciting projects where we contribute with expertise and knowledge for technology-intensive automation services to our clients. Locally, we work with the market's largest customers in exciting projects that are partly run in-house in our own project business, and partly out at our customers. Our customers and assignments are in several sectors of industry, such as the food industry and projects in energy, process, manufacturing and more. In the section, we work with automation, electrical design, project management and programming. Our team is made up of people with different backgrounds and competencies that differ and complement each other. We now want to continue to grow with more colleagues in automation and electrical design as we see a great need for our expertise in the market and with our customers in the future.

About the role

Whether you are interested in working with electrical design, automation, or programming in PLC/SCADA/DCS, we have opportunities for you. Common to the roles with us is the breadth of responsibility and variety and we as an employer offer you a dynamic and developed work. We always try to customize the role description to match your circumstances. This means that you will have ample opportunities to participate in the development of the roles. You will have the chance to follow the progress of projects from idea to commissioned plant for various customers. Helping customers with both acute and long-term problems/opportunities is something you enjoy and are motivated by. You will work on the execution of projects as well as supporting customers' daily operations where tasks such as methodical troubleshooting, electrical design and/or programming in PLC/SCADA/DCS are included. Knowledge of machine safety is an advantage as it is an important natural part of your work.

Requirements specification

We also believe that you are a collaborative person and value committed and driven colleagues with good cohesion and teamwork. In addition to this, we imagine that you are thorough and self-driven in your work, as you will work project-oriented with technical specifications. We also believe that the following applies to you;

• You have a technical education at secondary school level, college level or equivalent experience with electrical design, automation or engineering focus.
• You have several years of work experience in electrical design or automation and programming in PLC, HMI or SCADA. Preferably in industrial automation and from the manufacturing process or food industry.
• Good knowledge of some/any of the following systems and tools: S7, TIA, Control Builder, 800xA or AVEVA/WW System Platform, Auto-CAD, Eplan, ElproCAD and Elmaster.
• Knowledge of calculation programs such as El-vis, Netkoll or Febdok is an advantage.
• B driving license as travel may occur in the service.
• You have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
