About the role

As an Electrical Designer with us, you will be part of a major remodeling project where we develop a wastewater treatment plant in Stockholm into one of the world's most modern. The project includes a new treatment plant with modern membrane technology to increase capacity and meet increased environmental requirements. We at AFRY are responsible for all electrical engineering and automation in the project and employ 25 people around our offices in Stockholm. The work is performed from AFRY's premises with placement at our office in Solna or Södertälje. You will also have the opportunity to work with our customers around the greater Stockholm area.

Your tasks can involve everything from design work in industrial electrical installations and include tasks such as:

• Project planning
• Circuit and connection diagrams
• Layouts
• Cable lists
• Selection of equipment
• Cable dimensioning.

You will also participate in check-outs and commissioning of facilities and up to final installation and final inspection. You will work with the execution of the treatment plant project and with a team of specialists from AFRY be involved in the work on a future-proof plant. Requirements

Since you will be involved in developing the technical solutions of the future, we believe that you are a committed, curious and technically interested person who drives things from idea to goal - you do not give up as soon as it takes. We imagine that you value collaborating with others and creating engagement, building relationships and being responsible in what you do. You are also someone who enjoys sharing knowledge and lessons learned with others, as a mentor or expert. You also have:

• A relevant education in the field, for example as a civil engineer, university engineer, high school engineer, YH engineer, or equivalent work experience.
• Several years of experience as an electrical designer, instrument engineer or from a similar role. Preferably from a role in process, industry, power generation or similar area.
• Deficient experience and good system knowledge in Eplan Electric P8, AutoCAD and ElproCAD. Experience with Insyde is highly meritorious.
• B-driving license as traveling at times is a natural part of your role.
• Good communication skills in Swedish as well as in English, in both speech and writing.
