About the role
In the role of Electrical and Mechanical Designer at AFRY, you will be a key person in our projects where we explore and develop innovative technical solutions. This specific assignment means that you will be part of a new venture in the defense industry in Örebro, where we work together with a customer to expand their business. Your work will include:
- Design of electronics and mechanical components for various product groups in the defense sector.
- Collaborate with other specialists in electrical, mechanical and electronics to integrate solutions and create a unified product.
- Participate in concept development and design of next generation products for the company's defense systems.
Requirements
To succeed in the role, we believe that you are motivated by working in a dynamic work environment, where you build good relationships and collaborations with a business approach. We believe that your potential and attitude to succeed in the role is most important, but the role requires that you:
- Have a relevant technical education in the form of a university or civil engineer or YH in either mechanics or electronics.
- Good knowledge of any CAD tool.
- Documented work experience in the field where you can show good examples linked to the role.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
