About the role
We are looking to strengthen our dedicated team in Stockholm with an experienced landscape architect who has worked with landscapes as well as early stage planning studies, analysis, detailed planning, urban design analysis and similar assignments.
The role means that you will work with physical planning according to the Planning and Building Act. Detailed planning is a central and priority task that you will work with most.
Our landscape architecture projects range from early investigations, analyses and concepts to design, design of urban spaces and public land, squares, parks, residential and business environments, schools and preschools, infrastructure as well as visualizations and support in the follow-up and maintenance of facilities.
We are a curious and committed team of 20 people working in planning and landscape architecture, with great drive in sustainability and design issues. We have developing collaborations with other engineering and design competencies within AFRY to jointly see opportunities and take on challenges for our future cities. We participate in seminars, study visits, forums and various networking events to learn and contribute to learning.

As a landscape architect with us, there are requirements for communication skills and experience from independent contact with clients and project managers. In addition to skills development through all inspiring colleagues at AFRY, we offer continuous support through our various internal Technology Networks and keep ourselves updated in industry-related knowledge.
Requirements
We are looking for a positive and clear person who is driven by good collaboration, quality results and someone who wants to grow and take responsibility. As a landscape architect with experience in detailed planning, you work creatively and structured in our committed and curious teams. You are responsible with a high ability to independently organize and prioritize your work.
- Degree from the landscape architecture program or equivalent
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 5 years of experience in project management roles in detailed planning
- Command Swedish in speech and writing
- Knowledge of PBL
- Experience of work as a consultant is meritorious
- Experience of work with the Focus Detaljplan tool or the Geosecma tool is meritorious.
